The modern version of the ride can be found in thousands of locations worldwide, in locations ranging from amusement parks, museums, zoos and even cruise ships. It is simply the most recognizable and significant ride ever created. But a ride as old as the carousel has a rich and deep history, and the rides we call carousels today have evolved significantly over time.
