On-Car Driveshaft Balancing - Part 1 of 2 - EVA Strobe Light

Weber State University (WSU) - Automotive Technology Department - Transmission Lab. In this episode, we demonstrate how to balance a Propeller shaft (driveshaft) in a car or truck with the Electronic Vibration Analyzer (EVA and EVA2). This balancing procedure is referred to as a "System Balance" because it balances not only the propeller shaft, but the pinion gear, flange, and transmission/transfer case output shaft as one rotating assembly.
