Hello everyone, and welcome back to another video. Today, we will be driving from Redding, CA to Mount Shasta, CA, while traveling along Interstate 5 north, which is known as the Cascade Wonderland Hwy. Interstate is a major north-south freeway in the Western United States that runs through the states California, Oregon, and Washington. Construction of this freeway through all three states finished in October of 1979. In this video, we are driving along one of the most scenic sections of I-5 in northern California, starting at the central valley town Redding, and then going all the way until Mount Shasta in the Cascade Mountain range. Mount Shasta is a city that is also home to the 14,180 foot high, dormant volcano only a few miles from town! This video is a full-length, non-sped up drive that allows you to experience the trip just like you are riding along.
