Black Sabbath - Megalomania - Guitar Cover In honor and celebration of Black Sabbath's sixth studio album Sabotage, which was released on this day, July 28th, in 1975 - this is track #4 on the album and closes out Side B. This entire album is an absolute monster, and "Megalomania" is certainly one of the most monstrous of the tracks. Of all the Sabbath songs, really... This beast clocks in at just under ten minutes and is one of the most complex of their songs. And took a bit to figure it all out properly, not gonna lie - given that there's lots of layered tracks, especially guitar. Tony Iommi once again plays several different solos overdubbed in the same space - very common on the early albums. I think there aren't too many cover vids of this one - probably because it's tough to play all the way through without any flubs. Hopefully I pulled it off ok. Tuning on this one is C# standard, with a +8 cent adjustment to match the album. I'm doing these cover videos purely for my own enjoyment - while I write for several upcoming planned projects that should hopefully take form this year. Thought I'd share for anyone interested.
