Blasphemous | Is It Worth Playing in 2023?

With the release of Blasphemous 2 being right around the corner, I decided to go back and play the first Blasphemous game to find out if it’s worth playing in 2023! Blasphemous is a Metroidvania action-adventure game set in Custodia, a dark, gothic, and overly religious place under the mercy of “The Grievous Miracle.” The main themes are blatantly shown with its stylized graphics, choice of words, direction of storyline, and especially in its lore and world-building. One look at it, and you know what you’re getting into, but does it all come together to form a good game? If you like this kind of content, please do consider dropping a like and subscribing!
