Cognitive neuroscientist Raksha Mudar, PhD, investigates the effects of normal cognitive aging and brain diseases including mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer's disease and frontotemporal dementia, on higher-order semantic functions. In her research, she combines behavioral methods, event-related potentials and functional magnetic resonance imaging. Dr. Mudar is a professor in the Department of Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Illinois.
