Some spread ideas for the Tarot enthusiasts out there. I hope this is helpful. It's really about playing around with positions and allowing yourself to customise what you've learned in books so that it works to your advantage with the specific requirements of a reading. Try using a pen and paper to plan a spread out, considering all the key things you want to cover and creating a position for each one. Or try free form spreads and just permit your intuition to guide you. Remember, even with spreads which have set positions, you may sometimes find that some messages will jump out at you from one card but are intuitively directed towards another area of life - that's ok. Any message which is nurturing and illuminating is valid so don't feel the need to be extremely rigid in your thinking. Using set positions should never hinder the process, it should enrich it! :) After a while, using the same set spread can start to feel a little bit stale. Don't be worried about changing things up and if you're reading for friends or clients, just try out the customised version with a few practice runs first so that you can gauge how comfortable you are with it and how much information it's likely to offer.
