I caught my fin on a rock and buckled the tail of my longboard. This prompted me to repair a bunch of other damaged areas on the nose and bottom, then finishing the restoration by redoing the paint and applying a gloss coat. I've done relatively simple repairs in the past, I'm not a professional, so this is intended for a Do It Yourselfer facing similar issues. Hopefully this will provide some ideas, and also insight on what to expect. Besides the materials and techniques used, what you'll need is time and patience. I'm pleased with my results, the board is strong, watertight, and looks much better than what I started with.
