Souped Up - K455 Sub-Minimum Diameter to Mach 2 and 18,452ft

Souped Up is a 2" high power rocket that I designed, constructed, and flew to 18,452ft. It weighed in at 6.9lbs fully loaded and was constructed in a "Submin" configuration. This means that the rocket motor itself was a structural component of the rocket's airframe instead of a separate body tube. It was propelled by an Aerotech K455 rocket motor containing 3.2lbs of propellant to a GPS confirmed altitude of 18,452 feet above the launch site at an estimated max speed of Mach 2.
