Banana Apple Bread

Moist, cream, mouth-watering Banana Apple Bread without nuts. This is a great recipe to make with your children and as a gift for Valentine's Day. Belle’s Banana Apple Bread Ingredients 3 ½ cups flour 4 tsp. Baking powder 1 tsp. Baking soda 2 cups ripe bananas mashed (4 to 6) 1 ½ cups sugar ½ cup melted butter 3 to 4 tsp. Cinnamon 1 to 2 tsp. Nutmeg 1 tsp. Allspice 1 tsp. Ginger 1 tsp. Cloves ½ to 1 tsp. Cardamom ½ to 1 tsp. Salt 2 eggs ½ cup milk 1 small to medium Granny Smith apple Directions Preheat oven to 350°. Grease well, flour, and set aside two 9 X 5 loaf pans. You do not have to use grease and flour if you use stoneware. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and all the spices and set aside. I do not actually put them in a separate bowl; I add them in sections. In a large bowl, combine banana, sugar, eggs, and butter and beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture alternating with milk. Mix until well blended. Add the peeled and chopped Granny Smith apple. Pour into the two loaf pans equally and bake for 60 to 70 minutes. Let them cool for 10 to 15 minutes before removing the bread from the pans.
