About Caroline Casey Caroline Casey is the businesswoman and activist behind The Valuable 500, the world's largest #ceo collective and business move for #disabilityinclusion. In 2000, aged 28, she left her job as a management consultant at Accenture to launch The Aisling Foundation, where her goal was to drive positive change in how #disabilities are perceived and treated. In 2001, Casey embarked on a solo trek across India, covering approximately 1,000 km on the back of an elephant. This remarkable journey raised €250k in support of The National Council for the Blind of Ireland and Sightsavers. Casey's exceptional feat also marked her as the first female mahout from the Western world. Casey’s journey and efforts exemplify her commitment to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities and promoting #inclusivity. In recognition of her impactful efforts as a disability #activist, Caroline has been presented with an honorary doctorate and received numerous awards and accolades.
