Texhnolyze: Behavioral Sink

In this segment, I take a look at the underpinning of what transpired in Texhnolyze on the surface world as well as the spiritual decay settling into Lux and compare its uncanny likeness to the experiments conducted by John B Calhoun regarding Behavioral Sink. This is a foundation video so that I can reference back to it when I discuss the surface world and social/biological aspects of the series in more detail. Repeating all these points was making other videos unnecessarily long. As a general note, the topics I'm covering are much deeper than the cursory explanation I'm giving them, so consider them nothing more than primers. If they interest you, I would encourage you to read up on them, because some of the work done by scientists in this area is fascinating. Also, the political and social landscape in Japan regarding population demographics is much more complex than I alluded to in the video, so please be aware that I'm only providing a limited window to one of many cultural outlooks. Thanks for taking the time to watch. I'm looking forward to expanding on this series analysis in the near future. This is a fairly concentrated analysis, and is part of a multi-part examination of the series and its themes as a whole. I will be expounding on some of the various themes touched on in this video in future analyses as well as a multitude of other topics that I think are core to understanding this show in a deeper way. ________________________________________________________________ DISCLAIMER: All visual and audio content pertaining to Texhnolyze is produced by Texhnolyze Committee and Funimation.
