OLD LIFT - THE SWITCH ON! Camera angles and tech detail!

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT SAFETY AND YOUTUBE: My channel does not promote or glamourise dangerous activities. It goes without saying (hopefully?) that YouTube is a public platform and our channels are popular with kids, and kids are influenced by what they watch. Everyone is different. If you're an adult, then I don't particularly care either way - you're responsible for your own actions. But some people are better at gauging what's dangerous and what isn't. I have an example of this from Chay, who nearly lost his eye at 10 years old for doing something that I portrayed as a blatantly obvious dangerous act, but "he" didn't because he's a kid and wasn't aware. So my channel I hope does not plant ideas in their minds to do things like surfing lifts or stunts at height. I've seen very recently an example of this, a video uploaded by a 9 or 10 year old directly copying someone in our community and saying the channel's name while he did it (now deleted). This is direct proof of my concerns. I don't want this person named because he was just doing what kids do and is not to blame (and he's a likeable person). In my opinion, a warning in a video DOES NOT exonerate you if harm should come to a kid that was copying something that you have portrayed as a fun activity. If you have shown it, they copy it, the where does the fault lie? Is it the 9-year-old kid? Or the adult that planted the idea in their head in the first place? I'd like to think that my channel DOES NOT influence people to perform dangerous acts. As far as I know, nothing has happened yet, so everyone's good...right? But when it does let's see what happens then. If you have a kid, then it's the 'unthinkable'. If you don't have a kid, you won't understand until you do. Suddenly the fun element collapses into a serious subject, and the first place the media are going to look is YouTube. Hopefully I can go home knowing that my channel had nothing to do with it, but however small, my channel probably DID contribute in some small way. This bothers me more that (it would seem) other members in our community. The camera angles in this video showing lift shaft footage were placed in position before running the lift. A lift engineer was genuinely in attendance throughout. For further info, please see these links: https://elevatorcommunity.fandom.com/...   / 831498013530296   .......... MERCHANDISE NOW AVAILABLE! Please support our channel by getting Siren and Lift merch from: http://www.mrmattandmrchay.com .......... WHY DO MY VIDEOS TAKE SO LONG TO EDIT? Watch the video to find out - As per my outro, I do spend a lot of time and effort producing videos like this. Editing has taken over a month, but I wouldn't want it any other way. My channel reflects on ME, my qualities, style and (even though it's just a lift video!) I want my audience to enjoy what they watch and perhaps learn something new. Also YouTube is a hobby and it's not my full time job, so I only edit in my spare time. ONE THING MISSING IN THIS VIDEO was Commentary! - Next time I'll explain how the majority of items shown in this video works (I've also created an circuit animation). .......... THE MRMATTANDMRCHAY CHANNEL, established 2008: I'm passionate about uploading quality and interesting videos for YOU, my audience. What is my channel about? "Old lift machinery made interesting", old air-raid sirens, prehistoric alarm equipment. If "I" don't find it interesting ...then IT DOESN'T GET UPLOADED! I always spend a lot of time editing my videos with animations, video in-sync with music and voice overs to make them this way. My moto - "Quality NOT Quantity" - spending a month editing a video is not a rarity! But without you, I'm nothing here. Thank you so much for watching. ...mrmattandmrchay is me (Matt) and my son Chay. This channel does not promote dangerous activities such as lift surfing.
