In this video I carry out fault finding for an earth continuity issue on a ring circuit I discovered last time I was at the property. Last time I was at the property putting in some power points for the kitchen and I discovered the issue. To resolve the issue I decide the best course of action is to check for loose connections or to split the ring into two radials on 16 Amp MCBs. Once the earth continuity issue is resolved the customer asks me to take a look at two lights that aren't working in the kitchen. As the connections are above the ceiling, the customer has to remove the carpet and uplift the floorboards to grant access.
