Our synthesist eats a Mount Italy sandwich from Arby's. The audio and video capture tech immerse the viewer in an update to Andy Warhol's famous journey through a Whopper. It climaxes with LaCroix's uniquely satisfying *pop*, chosen specifically for that purpose. Artist and videographer, Cory "Stone Cold Steven" Anchors, describes his process for creating the scene: "This scene is a variety of color and emotion. At the beginning, before the subject sits, you see knives and a circle of red. The subject completes the circle and begins his journey. He has refused to speak on this experience, but it's apparent that though the sandwich was delicious, it was quite frustrating. We gave him no instruction, no guidance. And the beauty was seeing how he was able to navigate through the scene without the sort of self consciousness that leads to laughter. I applaud his performance. He's left the perfect open space for the viewer. There is no imposition, only participation. The subject sits next to you."
