Reshaping Your Hat

Sat on your hat? Here's how to steam it back into its original shape! This is intended for felted fedoras only. If the same thing happens to a straw hat, unfortunately it's time for a replacement. Tips 1. If you don't have a proper steamer, you can use steam from a tea kettle. 2. To help sustain structure to your hat while storing away, you can ball up a pillowcase or something similar, and stuff into the inside of the hat. 3. When stacking hats on top of each other, don't force when pushing down. Steaming: Heat your hat with your steamer for 4 to 5 seconds. Once it feels warm, slowly apply your hands to smooth out any wrinkles in site. Bring your hat to it's original shape, then wear for days.
