Tonight I made macaroni cheese for the tea :) Definitely one of our favourites! I always bake my macaroni to get the top nice and crunchy, but you could always just pop it under the grill for a few minutes if you don’t like it quite so baked :) Sometimes I add cooked bacon to the sauce…which is extra delicious :) Perfect served with garlic bread or a wee bit of side salad…or even a few chips (french fries). Everything I used will be listed below. -Cheryl x ______________________________________________________________________ Serves 3-4 300g (3 cups) Dried pasta - I used macaroni For the sauce- Butter - 43g (3 tablespoons or 1.5 oz) Plain flour - 43g (3 tablespoons or 1.5 oz) Whole milk -500ml (2.1 cups) Double or heavy cream - 120ml (0.5 cup) Grated cheese 130g (1 cup) - I used strong Cheddar Mustard - 1 heaped teaspoon 1/2 Teaspoon of nutmeg For the top- I usually use a combination of Panko breadcrumbs, grated parmesan, grated mozzarella and grated cheddar - The amount is up to you :) __________________________________________________________________________ CONTACT ME: New P.O.
