Amiga Speedrun - Turrican 1 - No Death

My goal here was to finish the game without dying while aiming at a reasonable time. Took me 29 min 07 sec. (49s - 29min 56s in the movie) wich is improveable but not too slow either. Played in one piece. With level 3.2 (my favorite level) the game starts to become "difficult", and I take my time there to stock up on bonus weapons. The game becomes increasingly harder up to level 4.3 (3rd alien world). Level 5.1 (tower) then gets slightly easier again. In this later parts the collected stuff eventually becomes essential to maintain speed (of course you have to stay alive in order not to loose the collected bonus items). However if one manages that (and it IS doable) the difficulty becomes manageable. The big exception is Level 4-3 wich (only in the Amiga version as far as I know) lacks any Bonus blocks. Surviving this level was the inital challenge after grabbing the game again, and the main motivation to do the run. Have fun watching!
