Joe Green in his Mk3 Vauxhall Astra GSI 16v putting in a few runs at Santa Pod Raceway. The car is fitted with a 2.0 C20LET with a GTX35 GEN1 TURBO and other supporting mods, plus the standard F28 gearbox. It pushes out 700bhp on Tesco pump fuel, and with the help of a set of slicks has a current 1/4 mile PB of 10.74 and a best ET of 143mph. The car is still used on the road as a weekend/race car. Joe is in the process of building a new lighter car for this year, using the same engine, he hopes to be the first sub 10 second Astra in the UK. The runs filmed were at the Ultimate Street Car Event in 2019 (With Passenger) and Doorslammers 2019, with best time recorded being 10.81 @ 134mph.
