Doubledeckeranton reviews his first electric bus after more than 7 hours behind the wheel of two BYD Enviro 200 EV buses!⏳➡️⌚➡️⌛ This '2nd' drive of an electric bus has grown on Anton and he has now acquired 'a feel' for it! 😀 The brake pedal is still 'sharp to the touch' and does 'take time' to get used to! ⌚ The braking is aided when the accelerator pedal is depressed through 'regenerative braking'..!!👌 There is plenty of room for passengers throughout the whole bus! The seating layout allows for very tall people to sit in comfort with 'more than' adequate legroom! 💺 = ✔ There is also the chance to charge your mobile phone devices through the use of USB connections on every seatback! This is a very 'welcome sight' on London buses! 🔌📲📱💻 ➡️ 💯% charge The only 'weak point' of the bus, is that the indicators from the drivers dashboard are just about inaudible to hear 👀👂=❌🙁 Drivers must always remember to 'check the indicators are turned off' once a manoeuvre/change of direction is completed! Also the brake pedal could be 'less jerky' and have more of a 'spongy feel' but maybe this is how the bus is set up! All in all...this is a very impressive bus to drive! And with the added dual flow air conditioning unit, which blows through the drivers cab (above ⤵️ and below⤴️)...this is a very nice place to be on a warm humid/muggy day in London.
