From stuck and broken bolts to a stubborn CV joint, you'll see a few mishaps that can happen during your conversion and how to overcome them! *I don't recommend prying apart your transmission with screwdrivers, but do what you have to do. *You don't need to put the inner CV cups on the axle stubs. It works just fine without them. You can also split the case and completely remove the front differential to cut down on excess rotational mass to maximize performance. *I would recommend cutting the outer CV cup off and leaving just the stub. This removes the hassle of prying apart the bearing, while reducing excess rotational mass. *Locktite is not required on the outer CV stub.
