Best Way To Tie Non-Slip Loop Knot (Optimal Number Of Turns For Strongest Knot Experiment)

To see the best fishing knots for every scenario, click here: https://bit.ly/3kKQrTA To learn how to tie the Non-Slip Loop Knot, click here: https://bit.ly/3kGNgfj I've done a lot of experiments about what the best loop knot for lures is and the clear winner is always the non-slip loop knot. It's strong and the tag end faces toward the lure so it's essentially weedless. However, there are a few ways to tie the non-slip loop knot, which leads us to the next question: What's the best way to tie the non-slip loop knot? Some people say you should use two turns, while others say three or four. Instead of leaving this up for debate or relying on anecdotal evidence, I decided to do an experiment. I used my line/knot strength tester to test two turns vs. three vs. four turns. There was a difference in strength between these three versions of this loop knot, but the results were not what I was expecting! See what the strongest version of this knot is, as well as which version I'll be tying from now on in this video. Were these results what you expected?
