The Flow X is a well-designed product, running on a single tube rail that travels low to the profile of your stairs and fixes to the steps. Every rail is configured to suit your stairs; the Flow X can handle multiple bends including flat landings, fan shaped, narrow, spiral and even multi-flight staircases. The rail can travel on either side of your stairs with many different start and end positions available to get the best fit for you and your stairs. The chair and footrest folds when not in use, or you can leave it unfolded and ready to go. For narrow stairs, the lift can travel in a downward position to negotiate tight bends. The Flow X is easy to use – just sit in the seat, fasten the seatbelt and press the arm control in the direction of travel with constant pressure, until the lift automatically stops at the end of the rail. The chair will turn to a safe position for you to get off. The stylish seat upholstery comes in a choice of wipe clean vinyl or optional leather for a more luxurious finish. The remote Call/Send controls can be used if there are two people in the house, or to park the lift out of the way. All stairlifts are battery powered and charged by parking the lift on a charge station.
