-History: Giovinezza is the anthem of the fascist party of Italy. The song goes back to 1909 when the melody and lyrics were first composed. Later when the Fascist era came around in Italy, the song was rewritten. This is the first ever recording of the song back in 1922. Later, in 1924 and 1943, the song was rewritten again. The version sung during the March on Rome was composed by G. Castaldo in 1921, using the original score by Giuseppe Blanc and words by Marcello Manni After the March on Rome, where it was sung, Mussolini commissioned Salvator Gotta to write the new lyrics, which were completed in 1924. -The record: Giovinezza / Columbia records Dante Alighieri / D 4876 Sung by: Luigi Abrate This record was made only once for things like broadcasts.
