The 1000-foot ship American Century passed under the Aerial Lift Bridge as it arrived from Lake Superior in Duluth, MN! I noticed very early that this ship was moving very fast. This 1000-foot ship maintained a speed of over 10 knots as it arrived under the Lift Bridge! This was the fastest speed I have documented of a ship this size as it entered the Duluth ship canal. I showed the actual ship speed transmitted by AIS on a phone screen during this video so you could see it too. The huge ship was blazing through the ship canal! Wow!
