Nene VS Polka! Hololive 5th Gen's Best Comedian?【Hololive/Eng Sub】

This is from a pretty old Minecraft collab stream among Holofive girls. Reading the T/L notes is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! This is going to be a heavy Japanese gag/pun clip, so bear with me. Or, you could watch it just for the giggles. That's what I did at first! XD T/L Notes 0. Ono and Oh no (Thanks Necroneer for reminding) Wordplay for Japanese for axe (ono) and Oh no. 1. Hiya hiya When Polka mentioned wanting it to be cold, Nene replied with 'hiya hiya' a play on the word as 'hiya hiya' is usually used for chilled/room temperature wine. 2. Nandeyanen A Japanese dialect. Also used in Tsukkomi/Straight Man jokes to scold the 'Boke' partner for saying something unrelated/dumb. 3. Tanakara botamochi A Japanese proverb that I'm quite unfamiliar with, but web results define it as having 'a lucky break'. Unclear context as Nene chickened out XD 4. Polka's skit a) Nene no jidai wo owatta. Loosely translated to 'Nene's era is over' which I think means similarly to cutting loose from her. b) Lamy to motto karamitai Continuation of the skit. As Polka cuts ties with Nene, she wants to get more involved (karamitai) with Lamy. Wordplay between Lamy (Ramy) and karamitai (rami) 5. Kasou Taishou Semi-annual show in Japan that portrays amateur groups performing skits. Botan and Polka referenced to it as the show had a points system. 6. Nene's skit Ore kurai no mayorā ni naru to, mayonēzu nashi de gohan ga kueru. a) 'mayorā' which is just a made up word for 'mayonnaise addicts' in Japan, who puts mayonnaise in every meal they have. Literal meaning 'If you become a mayonnaiser of my calibur, you can even eat rice without mayonnaise.' 7. Polka's response Hakumei which means plain white rice. Polka is using Nene's (unsuccessful) skit against her by adding an extra line which just makes no real sense but is much funnier nonetheless. 8. Polka's Wordplay Tsuman ne and Tsuman Nene Wordplay of adding another ne at the end. 9. Nene's Wordplay(?) Sono Mama nai kai? A bit unsure about this one. But I think it's got something to do with 'Mama'. Tell me in the comments if any of you got this one~ XD END OF T/L NOTES Please follow and support the featured VTuber(s) of this video!!! ==================================== 【Original Stream】 ☞ Nene's perspective:    • 【マイクラ】5期生の夜!【ホロライブ/桃鈴ねね】   ☞ Polka's perspective:    • こんなところにマイクラが【ホロライブ/尾丸ポルカ】   ☞ Lamy's perspective:    • 【Minecraft】ねぽらぼビル建設!深夜の素材集めの旅【雪花ラミィ/ホ...   ☞ Botan's perspective:    • 【マイクラ】ビルジング建設に向けて素材集めする回【獅白ぼたん/ホロライブ】   【Momosuzu Nene】 ☞    / @momosuzunene   ☞   / momosuzunene   【Omaru Polka】 ☞    / @omarupolka   ☞   / omarupolka   【Yukihana Lamy】 ☞    / @yukihanalamy   ☞   / yukihanalamy   【Shishiro Botan】 ☞    / @shishirobotan   ☞   / shishirobotan   【Outro Song】 ☞    • Видео   || Song: Happy Synthesizer (cover) || || By: Mano Aloe || 【Outro Illustration】 ☞ https://imgur.com/a/LBUDl2Z #MomosuzuNene #OmaruPolka #Hololive #YukihanaLamy #ShishiroBotan
