Significantly, after about 34 years, the National Education Policy has been changed. After 1968 and 1986, this is the third National Education Policy which was formulated in 2019. Former ISRO K. Kasturirangan's lead committee drafted this education policy. It has also been approved to change the name of Ministry of Human Resource Development to Ministry of Education.
