Canon Ixus 500 HS disassembly / re-assembling (lens unit exchange)

This is the second time, i dissambled and re-assembled a Canon Ixus 500 HS digital camera (sucessful). Because the optics did not work properly (Objektivfehler), i ordered a spare part (lens unit) at ebay. Unfortunately i could not find a corresponding video that showed how to exchange the part. In order to increase the probability to get that thing working again, i filmed the whole process. Half way through, i played the video backwards : this way i knew wich screw belonged where. Playback is 2.5 times faster than in reality. The video itself isnt that exciting, but may be useful for other people wanting to repair this digital photo camera. Please be aware of the risk of Electrostatic discharge (ESD) when touching electronics without special equipment. An electric spark may destroy the camera. Therefore, before starting, you should prevent rubbing a ballon, shuffling across a carpet or petting your cat. If you cannot avoid, consider touching something that is connected to earth. You may also simply accept the risk ;-)
