Jay Pathak talks with Rick Warren about evangelism, global missions and what Rick calls “finishing the task.” Rick also shares encouraging words about God using broken people, specific encouragement to the Vineyard, finding a “person of peace” to work with, and tells some fun stories about running into in John Wimber and the early Southern California Vineyard in the early days. Rick and Kay Warren founded Saddleback Church when they were just 26 years old. They had no money, no land, no building and no members — but they had a dream. And as they led our church for 43 years, the vision that God gave Rick became a reality. He currently serves as Saddleback’s Founding Pastor and Executive Director of Finishing the Task.
