I was recommended this piece by a few high school friends, being unaware of where it was from. I'm not a fan of anime but I really like how passionate and virtuosic Animenz's arrangement sounds. I decided it would be fun to take such a massive difficulty jump (my previous most difficult piece was probably Clair de Lune). It was incredibly difficult, but I thought I could eventually get a satisfying recording with enough dedication. Recently, progress has slowed down, and unless I spend unreasonable hours practicing every day, I tend to lose more progress than I gain. I took this recording at around my peak in skill. It is riddled with mistakes, but I didn't want this project to go to waste. In this recording, I manually edited a note in the final chorus at 3:17 that I found particularly distracting from the musical quality of the piece. The rest of the recording is raw.
