I visited Cappadocia Goreme and hiked through Love, White, Pigeon, Red and Rose Valley. These hikes are amazing and easily accessible from Goreme. The landscape changes quickly. One moment you will be in an open desert environment and the next you'll be deep in the valley trailing through the undergrowth. All over Cappadocia are these fascinating caves carved into the beautiful rock formations protruding from the ground and I spent some time exploring these. I also did a sunset quad bike tour which is another great way to soak in the unique landscape. Hikes are best done early in the morning so you can enjoy the views of the hundreds of hot air balloons. In summer it also gets very hot during the day and there are large portions of these hikes that do not have shade. Cappadocia is one of the most unique places I have ever been. A must visit for anyone touring Turkey.
