Spring woodland walk with birdsong, buzzing bees and gentle stream sounds. A walk in the gardens, orchard, herb garden and woodlands of an old English country house. A wander through the woods, orchards and walled garden of Acorn Bank, a National Trust property in the north of England, near to the Lake District. It's early in May and the temperature has finally climbed a little after a very long, cold, grey and tedious winter. An aimless wander around the woods and gardens, listening to the birdsong, is just the ticket. Plenty of birds in song, including the blackbird, blue tit, chiff chaff and the glorious wren. Look out for the bees too by the apiary. And the mini scarecrow in his mini garden!
