Using the wrong tone in Thailand

You may know that the Thai language is tonal, and that it has 5 tones. That in itself poses a real problem for English speakers who are trying to learn the Thai Language' If you get the tone wrong while speaking Thai to a Thai native speaker they will not understand you. It doesn't matter if you get the context of the sentence that you are trying to say correct. If you have one misplaced tone it will change the whole meaning of a word and the recipient will not be able to make head nor tail of what it is you are trying to say. This is a real source of frustration for me, and in this video I vent my frustration in the form of a rant. So sit back and enjoy this good rant.
