If you enjoy this walk and would like to see more like this then please consider subscribing to the channel    / @walktheworldaway   North Dalton is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England which is situated approximately 6 miles from the town of Driffield and around 20 miles from York. The picturesque South Dalton    • The Best Kept Secret in the Yorkshire...   lies some 4.5 miles to the south-east along with the stunning Dalton Estate. Ancient tumuli surround the village, and archaeologists have uncovered extensive evidence of Neolithic inhabitation. The predominantly Victorian village North Dalton appears in the Domesday Book and lies in the middle of the Yorkshire Wolds, a beautiful rolling chalk landscape made famous by David Hockney, and well known for its unique ecology. All Saints is a Norman church with extensive 13th-century rebuilding in the Early English style and sits on the top of a steep hill overlooking the village.
