The Bear 100 miles Ultra Marathon was my last trail running ultra marathon this year! A great adventure running the trail of Utah on this mountainous point-to-point ultra marathon - a Hardrock qualifier. Curious about the trail running gear I use and recommend: check out this link https://linktr.ee/runningwithsimon Only 3 weeks after my last race, my body is starting to feel the accumulated fatigue of racing 11x 100 miles ultra marathon this year (and 23 over the last 23 months). But it was an amazing adventure filled with gorgeous landscape, and a very well organized race. Something special was that I had the pleasure of sharing dozens of miles with Fanny one last time this year! Fanny and I both race the Grand Slam in 2022, and our schedule overlapped this year also, at Badger, and The Bear. She was also pacing me for Badwater! What a great way to wrap up the season! Now, this isn't my last RACE of the year - we're also racing Javelina 100 miles next month. But that's not really a mountain race, so it's a bit different - more of a desert race. And when I say "we", I really mean "we" - as in Mark, LeAnne, and Nora! Wowza! And Brian will be there too :) Thanks for watching!
