The Legendary *MARGARET HAMILTON* Visits CINEKYD!!! (1982)

#video #nostalgia #film RARE AND EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW to celebrate 100 subscribers!!! On June 18th, 2022, "Lost Media" enthusiasts unearthed a 1976 episode of Sesame Street, featuring Margaret Hamilton reprising her role as The Wicked Witch of the West from the timeless classic 'The Wizard of Oz'(1939). Well, it turns out Cinekyd has its own Margaret Hamilton-related lost media. Unseen for more than four decades, I was able to uncover unedited DVD-transferred footage of a 1.5-hour-long sit-down interview with the late silver screen legends Margaret Hamilton and Hal Le Roy. I manually synced the audio(which suffered from a number of dropouts, thus making it a painstaking process), and edited both camera feeds together - all after upscaling the SD footage using Topaz Labs Video AI. The speech audio has also been AI enhanced with PowerDirector. "The Boss" aka Robert J. Clark, Jr., Cinekyd's founder and Executive Director(and my father-in-law), conducts this vintage discussion with the utmost finesse and style. Also featuring a VERY special cameo from a very shy nine-year-old Rebecca Clark - who grew up to be my beautiful, lovely, incredible wife. Ms. Hamilton was a true professional, and an absolute sweetheart, to boot. Please enjoy this very rare snapshot into movie-making history, as well as one of Cinekyd's innumerable memorable events! PS. Is anybody familiar with the third guest, the individual seated to the left? I wasn't able to catch his name, or ascertain his identity based on the information provided. I'm sure many folks out there will recognize him immediately, and I'd really like to give him due credit. Thanks! UPDATE: His name is Frank Melfo, best known as a prominent member of 'The Sons of the Desert', a Laurel and Hardy appreciation club, Mr. Melfo was responsible for arranged this get-together/interview. Credit goes to Cinekyd alumni Eric Kurland, who was in attendance on this very day in '82!
