Since reading it, Mya (Meagan Good from Shazam!) has been holding back from giving in to men's advances too quickly. Candace (Regina Hall from Girls Trip and The Best Man), a single mother, Lauren (Taraji P. Henson from Hidden Figures and Proud Mary), a wealthy businesswoman, and Kristen (Gabrielle Union from The Brothers and Almost Christmas), who is disappointed in her partner's lack of ambition, are equally convinced by the book's teachings and follow them to the letter.
