Zelda: Skyward Sword - Skipper's Retreat Shack (Low Whistle / Oboe Cover)

Now and then, I get an inquiry as to whether or not I've played Skyward Sword since I covered Fi's theme over a year ago. I did receive the game mere days after uploading that cover, and ever since I've wanted to work with this melody! There was something very striking to me about the music in Lanayru in general, but particularly the shack buried by time. Live instruments used are the same I used for Fi - Low whistle, pennywhistle, oboe and English horn. The middle minute or so is a take on "Lanaryu Sand Sea", which is pretty safe to assume as the longest oboe solo in the franchise. I'm not sure which of the composers wrote this one, Hajime Wakai, Shinbo Fujii, Mahito Yokota, Takeshi Hama, or Koji Kondo, but Zelda music does not belong to me!
