How to slap tongue (demonstrated on bass and Eb clarinet)

Someone asked about slap tonguing on Eb clarinet. I made a quick demonstration video. It’s much easier to learn on a larger mouthpiece, so I show it first on a bass clarinet, but then the principle is the same to apply to all the other clarinets. The key is to get the tongue to suction to the reed. As you pull your tongue away from the mouthpiece, the reed comes with it and as you give a burst of air, it slaps back against the mouthpiece.
