Today is 25th December i.e. Christmas Day and I went to Newly Contructed Konyak Baptist Church which stands to be Asia's Largest Baptist Church located in the heart of Mon Town, Nagaland. The Architecture of Church is beautiful and I felt the positive vibes in there. It has an estimated capacity exceeding 10,000 individuals, surpasses the state’s Zunheboto Sumi Baptist Church’s which has a capacity of 8,500. Constructed under the architectural supervision of Engineer Jwinga Seb, the present MLA from Tseminyu constituency, the mega church stands tall in Mon town, covering an expansive area of 35,035 sq ft with a length of 284 ft and a breadth of 143 ft. The church’s was constructed at the cost of Rs 41.80 crore. I felt very special to celebrate Christmas at the largest church with wonderful people of Mon. After Christmas I planned to go to Longwa Village but couldn't get the taxi that day so I pre booked it for next day. Later in the evening that day I went to Night Carnival which was happening in Mon and had great fun there.
