We start off talking about one of the most common arrhythmias that you will come across in your patients, which is atrial fibrillation or afib. We give you some of the basic info that should help to identify this common but potentially serious arrhythmia. From there we move on to talk about atrial flutter or aflutter. We explain and show how this differs from afib and give you some pointers and criteria that should help in its identification and differentiation from afib. Lastly, we talk about our various junctional rhythms that you will see. We explain about where a junction rhythm comes from, as well as what are its unique and defining characteristics. We also talk about the different variations of junctional rhythms, including accelerated junctional and junctional tachycardia.
