The second/third fingers can easily come in and mix things up, getting away from the sound that tends to come along with single finger tapping. If you can already tap with 1 finger, it’s not that much of a stretch to start using 2-3… but will of course take a little practice to get the control, coordination and strength in the other fingers. If you haven’t started tapping but want to learn, it’s probably best to start with licks, sequences, melodies, etc that only use a single finger. Coordinating the two hands at first will be difficult and may feel strange, but then it becomes second nature. The guitar in the video is an Ibanez RG652AHMFX-RPB, in standard tuning. Audio was recorded using a Positive Grid Spark as an audio interface.
