A girl from a small town in West Bengal who lost her father while she was in Class 12th, persevered on her own, got into one of the top universities in India, tried CAT for IIMs, couldn’t succeed, came to a stage where she believed she would never be able to clear CAT or GMAT, came across content that made her believe she could also do it, started preparing for the GMAT, took about 18 months, and got GMAT 690. With ISB as her dream school, she started the B-school application process. Got into ISB. Applied to INSEAD. Got the interview invite.Converted that. She will go to INSEAD this August. This interview is special for me because her journey has inspired me. I rarely conduct interviews. The last interview I conducted was 3 years ago (I just realized that I wore the same clothes in that interview!!!). That interview was with Nandini, who cracked the GMAT in her 7th attempt.
