#croatia #split #diocletianpalace May 2024 We added Croatia to the backend of our Italy Trip 2024. Our first stop was Split. We stayed near the Diocletian Palace in an amazing Airbnb. We highly recommend it “Casa de Milo”. We were within walking distance of many restaurants, shopping, the port, the palace, coffee and the Green Market. Our wonderful host set us up with Baldo who was our transportation and “Johnny on the Spot” for information. He also has a smaller bnb that is available through TripAdvisor (Apartments Djanovic) you can contact him through instagram at VintageTomosTourSplit. He has motorbikes that rents to see the city. He suggested we hike up Marian Hill to get a view of the city. He is a wealth of information and very passionate about Split. We had a boat trip planned but it was too windy. We were glad to relax and enjoy the city and the food.
