"How much money do you need to start investing in real estate?" There is no one simple answer to this question, but I do believe there is a good starting point. Yes, it is true you can begin your investing journey with no money. However, there are important things you should educate yourself on and integrate yourself into as you begin investing in real estate. Once you have obtained a property, now the question is how much money do you need in reserves? Do you set aside a percentage each month from your cash flow? That is where I think people set themselves up for failure. In this video, I suggest setting aside a cash reserve to be able to handle the two biggest capital expenditures for a property (i.e. roof replacement, furnace, etc). Although technically you can begin investing in real estate with no money down, be cautious to begin this without having a cash reserve for repairing you knew investments.
