The very concerning brake issue on our new M2 that we describe at the end of the video has never occurred on our current G82 M4 and our previous G80 M3. It also has never occurred on any of our customers' BMW M4 or BMW M3. That said, this new BMW M2 (G87) is mind-blowingly good out-of-the-box. We firmly believe and advocate that in the $65k-$75k price range, there is no other car in the market that can compare to the G87 M2 for it's versatility as a daily drivable sports car with all the creature comforts/features and the ability to lay down blisteringly fast lap times over and over, even compared to a MK5 Supra. With very minimal things done to our M2, we were able to lay down a solid 1:53.358. We did have a 1:52.xxx on our lap timer showing, but that lap was terminated at the 2nd-to-last turn due to a car going off-track in front of us. To compare, our Project G80 M3 had full SPL adjustable suspension, better tire compound, upgraded racing brake pads, and an equal amount of interior weight savings.
