In this video we are showing an example simulation of the MedicFX Stick on wounds. The stick on wounds can be easily applied to the patient’s leg, arm or in this case the wrist. Some powder can be added to remove some of the sheen from the silicone, for a more realistic skin texture. Clothing or jewellery can be made to overlap the wound edges for a realistic simulation. Blood can be added, to prepare the wound for training purposes. The wound can be cleaned and and in most cases can be sutured. When the simulation is finished the wound is easily removed leaving little to no mess. The wound can then be cleaned and reused for the next simulation.
