Learn with this video how the cut-in points work in the Reloop Elite and have the available maximum control of them. In this video I explain ALL the fader settings that you can modify from the menus in the mixer. This will help you to fix cutting problems, and even you'll have the option to make the 0.0 mm setting to not cut at all in any of the three faders. Valid for both Mini Innofader Pro and the supported big body Innofaders PNP2 and PNP3 (at the time of this video). Item 1 is a setting intended to be used live as much as you want from outside the Innofader, just like the "cut-in" knobs on the second generation DJ Tech tables like the DIF-2S or DIF-M2. Items 2 and 3 are just remote ways of changing the Innofader's own settings to calibrate them, as listed in the Innofader web manuals: the ◀LOAD button acts as the calibration button that is physically on the Innofader. This way you don't have to open the mixer. This is why you have to press the ◀LOAD button for at least a quarter to half a second for the calibration to take effect: it is a safety measure in case you press the Innofader's own button by accident when installing it. Also, doing the movements of the Innofader stem slow when calibrating, ensures a more accurate detection of the extremes and midpoint. Recommended to do it even slower than I did in the video. Keep in mind that, although specific measurements appear both on the table and in the Innofader manuals (point 1 dead space from 0.0 to 3.2 mm, and point 3 MORE GAP/LESS GAP jumps of 0.15 mm), they are really approximations, plus there may be a 0.1 mm difference between the cut-in and the cut-out points*: take them as guide values only. In the case of the Innofader PNP3, as when recalibrating, after using one of the options "MORE GAP" or "LESS GAP", the inside LED will show a sequence of 12 flashes and the first one will be dimmed. I consulted Elliot Marx (the Innofader manufacturer) before making the video. For example: the data that the 0.15 mm jumps with MORE GAP/LESS GAP are actually something between 0.12 and 0.18 mm (both in the Mini Innofader Pro and in the PNP2 and PNP3) was specified by him. At the time of the video, my Elite is two and a half years old since I bought it (and its respective Mini Innofader Pro faders).
