In this video I show you how to take apart a stock open differential and pull the parts out that need to be machined at a machine shop in preparation for anLSD retrofit kit. This is for my 2008 BMW 335i with the N54 motor. This kit is a cost effective way to convert your open differential on your BMW to a progressive rate limited slip differential for only a fraction of what a fully assembled LSD would normally cost.
