How to achieve [Finale] quickly for Isolde - Reverse 1999

0:00 4 turn Finale - Party of 3, no other burn unit 3:40 4 turn Finale - Party of 3 with other burn unit 7:40 4 turn Finale - Party of 4, no other burn unit 13:40 3 turn Finale - Party of 4, with other burn unit What is Isolde? A Support? A DPS? I often notice that everyone is calling her a support, yes she have crit Def down, reality Def down, power burst, rousing morale all amplifies our party's dmg but her damage is no joke as well, comparable to recent DPS we get (slightly lower than Jiu) as per my other video Now, how to use Isolde? First, regardless of whether you are going to use her mainly as support or sub-DPS, you want to hit Finale as Fast as possible to gain excess to Power Burst. At P0, she needs 15 stacks to hit interlude and then 40 stacks to hit Finale At P2, she needs 10 stacks for interlude and 30 stacks for Finale. *Is NOT WORTH getting her P2, why? Max Burn Stack is 30, so she only can gain max 15 heat stack per turn. Now, at Round 1, it is Impossible to hit 30 stacks even with full Burn team even on a 4 party team set-up. Let's say, Isolde, Spathodea, Ulu, and TF. Due to Isolde and Ulu, start of Round, 6 burn stack on enemy. Isolde also grant Preignition to the party. Isolde debuff atk, +5 Burn Spatho atk and crit, +6 Burn Ulu debuff atk, +4 Burn TF debuff atk, +3 Burn Total = 6+5+6+4+3 = 24 stacks (12 heat) Round 2, assuming we now hit 30 stacks, 15 heat Total 27 heat, can't reach Finale even if she is at P2 at round 2!! Round 3, assuming we hit 30 stacks again, 15 heat Total 42 heat, we now hit Finale regardless if Isolde is P0 or P2! What about non Burn Team?? In a non-burn team, Isolde granting Preignition to party means that everyone in the party are able to inflict burn. Round 1: 3 stack at the beginning, 5 from Isolde, 3 each from other 3 units (assume all atk) Total = 3 + 5 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 17 stacks (9 heat) *Since we are at 9 heat, this means that even at P2 we can't hit Interlude yet, so it doesn't matter so much what incantation you do in the first round or if you actually inflict Burn stack at all. What matter is DURING Round 2, all units should attack to dump all Preignition stack. If you did not Atk in Round 1, now your units will have 6 stacks of Preignition Assuming no one atk in Round 1. Burn stack = 1 at start of round (this stack is carried forward from the previous round) Isolde = 8 stacks Unit 1 = 6 stacks Unit 2 = 6 stacks Unit 3 = 6 stacks Total = 27 stacks (14 heat) +2 heat from the previous round, 16 heat, hit Interlude Round 3 Assuming everyone is attacking +14 burn Total = 13+14 = 27 (14 heat) Now heat is at 30 (P2 achieve Finale) Round 4 Assuming everyone is attacking + 14 burn Total = 12 + 14 = 26 (13 heat) Now heat is at 43 (Both P0 achieve Finale) * So here, P2 have advantage of achieving Finale 1 turn faster, not a big difference IMO Alright, what if we have only 3 party members? In a 3 Party team, and without P2, it is not possible to reach Finale just relying on Preignition. Isolde had to use her Ulti by Round 4 (her Ulti gives 10 stacks to the targeted unit) Round 1 3 start of round Isolde = 5 Isolde debuff = 0 Unit 1 atk = 3 burn Total Burn = 11 (6 heat) Round 2 Everyone Atk (now the one of the unit that did not attack previously have 6 Preignition) Isolde = 5 Unit 1 atk = 3 Unit 2 atk = 6 Total Burn = 5 + 5 + 3 + 6 = 19 (10 heat) Total heat = 16 Round 3 Isolde = 5 Isolde debuff = 0 (Her Ultimate should be up next turn) Unit 1 atk = 3 Total Burn = 9 + 5 + 3 = 17 (9 heat) Total Heat = 25 Round 4 Unit 1 atk = 3 Unit 2 atk = 6 Isolde Ulti = 13 (3 due to intermezzo at beginning of round, and 10 from Ult) Total Burn = 8 + 3 + 6 + 13 = 30 Burn (15 Heat) Total Heat = 40 (Finale) Once hit Finale, do whatever you want as now Isolde provides Power Burst every turn regardless of Burn Stack. You don't have to bother so much about her rotation anymore if you are mainly using her as a Support. But if you still want to use her as a Carry, at this Junction Isolde Ulti will hit HARD provided you continue to stack the burn and ensure it is at 30 stack with excess Burn when Isolde uses her Ulti. Is this achievable without other Burn Support? YES! At Round 4 we are at 15 stacks. Let's assume we keep the rotation similar for Isolde, so she gets Ulti in 3 rounds. Round 5 = 15 + Isolde 5 + Unit 1 atk 3 Total Burn = 24 Round 6 = 12 + Isolde 5 + Unit 1 Ult 3 + Unit 2 atk 6 Total Burn = 26 Round 7 = 13 + Isolde 5 + Unit 1 atk 3 Total Burn = 21 Round 8 = 10 + Ult 1 atk 3 + Unit 2 atk 6 + Isolde Ulti 13 Total Burn = 30 + 2 excess This simulation assumes the most strict team (3 units with no other burn unit) So, in a 4 team, and with other burns like Ulu or Spatho, we can Easily hit 30 stacks with EXCESS LASTLY, A HUGE DISCLAIMER! all your burn stacks dissapear if enemy cleanse or died and we can't gain heat. #reverse1999guide #reverse1999
